We are so lucky to have so many stunning locations in Surrey, choosing only five was very difficult! But here are the top five locations that are just perfect for your autumn family photoshoot.

Virginia Water

Virginia Water is filled with so many different areas to explore from the beautiful lake and waterfall to the breath-taking Valley Gardens. You can’t help but be amazed at the stunning maple leaves as they turn an array of Autumnal colours. The tall trees in the wooded areas create the most gorgeous pools of autumn light, where you can relax, and little ones can run, have fun and be themselves.

Winkworth Arboretum

An Arboretum is basically a tree museum (how fabulous is that!), it’s an area that has been cultivated with lots of very carefully chosen trees and plants! So you can image Winkworth Arboretum positively glows in the autumn time. There is a vast valley, lots of beautiful winding pathways and a stunning lake, perfect for getting some beautiful reflections. A truly memorable place to capture beautiful family memories. There is a real peace and serenity about Winkworth Arboretum, you can almost feel the trees breathing around you.

Esher Common

Esher Common is beautiful for an autumn shoot as it has a mix of heath and woodland, providing lots of variety in your family photography. During autumn time, there are opportunities to catch the golden leaves falling from the trees in the forested areas and capture some beautiful light in the long grass around the ponds.
