With some of the most breath-taking views of Surrey, the Surrey Hills provides so many opportunities for long autumn walks. There is Leith Hill, Abinger Common and Broadmoor, Coldharbour, Abinger, Holmbury St. Mary and Wotton.

But if you want to combine your walk with a stop off at a gorgeous pub. Why not choose the Stephan Langton Inn, one of the most secluded pubs in the Surrey Hills.

Just off the A3 near Guildford, Compton is a gorgeous hamlet where you’ll find The Withies Inn. Park up and enjoy this beautiful little hamlet and the surrounding countryside.

Richmond to Hampton Court, Surrey

Take a beautiful afternoon stroll or bike ride along the banks of the River Thames. There are some gorgeous pubs along the way but The Boaters Inn in Kingston is a delightful resting stop. The Boaters Inn has a riverside beer garden that looks out over Canbury park Gardens and a quiet sunset balcony, perfect for watching those gorgeous Autumn sunsets.

If you are a National Trust member, Hatchlands Park is the perfect place for an Autumn family walk. Just bursting with colour during the autumn months, and with the Queens Head, an award-winning pub in East Clandon, so close it would be rude not to finish off with a pub lunch or tea.
